A piece of history

On the corner of the Galerie du Roi and Rue des Bouchers, a few steps from the Grand-Place and the Manneken-Pis, stands the Hôtel des Galeries. This boutique hotel with listed façades is at the heart of a historic monument – the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, built in 1847. Renowned interior architects Fleur Delesalle and Camille Flammarion have created a cosy, contemporary haven using only the finest materials. Our 23 rooms and suites spread over three floors and a mezzanine offer a choice of views: the Galerie du Roi, the town hall and the roofs of Brussels, or the hotel’s own courtyard. In the rooms, parquet flooring and wooden shutters combine with pieces by renowned names in design, including Belgians: custom-made furniture, objects unearthed in the antique shops of the Sablon, and, as a connecting theme, geometric ceramic figures. Embedded in this place charged with history, the extraordinary Hôtel des Galeries and its restaurant, the Comptoir des Galeries, orchestrated by Belgian chef Loick Tonnoir, are a place of serenity and good taste, defined by luxury and originality.
